A thirteen-year-old boy is forced to live with his estranged brother after their father is sent to prison. Their relationship is soon tested when the older brother's occupation as a marijuana dealer infringes on his ability not only to raise his kid brother, but even to take care of himself. However, through constant tribulations, they discover the only way to get through the difficulties of life is to work together and try to beat the odds.


Ryon Baxter - Director/Writer/Producer/Actor

Ryon Baxter is a filmmaker from Northern California. After graduating with a BA in Psychology from Sonoma State, he completed the Berkeley Digital Film Institute's immersive program. Green /is/ Gold is his first feature film.

Anthony Burns - Producer

Anthony wrote, directed, and produced Skateland, starring Shiloh Fernandez and Ashley Greene, which premiered in competition at Sundance 2010. Next, he produced Jimi: All Is By My Side, starring Imogen Poots, Andre 3000, and Haley Atwell; and directed by Academy Award winner, John Ridley. Burns followed that up by directing and producing Home Sweet Hell, starring Katherine Heigl, Patrick Wilson, and Jordana Brewster for Darko Entertainment and Sony World Wide. Currently he's developing and producing the drama, Raw, with Molly Shannon attached and the neo-noir thriller Obscura with Shiloh Fernandez set to shoot in Spring 2017.
